The Lichtenberger lab wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Little Beerenpunsch-Get-Together with our friends from the SERD and many baby-elefants.
Congratulations to Stefanie Widder and Beate Lichtenberger for the 2nd place of the Veronika-Fialka-Moser-Diversity-Award in the category “engagement” for the development of the “Elise-Richter-Network”.
This network is a bottom-up initiative with the goal to support and visualise excellent careers of female researchers in Austria.
We are happy to announce that Beate received a research development grant (“Forschungsentwicklungspreis”) for her project „Molecular Atlas of human skin cancer“ involving mass cytometry imaging from the City of Vienna.
In December, the Lichtenberger Lab was awarded for their publication ‘Lineage identity & location within the dermis determine the function of papillary and reticular fibroblasts in human skin’ by the Austrian Society of Dermatology and Venerology.
